Many of you know that Ryan McDermott of The New Pantagruel has been looking at and editing one of my short stories, giving it more attention and time than I would have ever dreamed or hoped.
Meanwhile, one of his own short stories, The Holy Adultery, has appeared at Communique. It's quite good, and well worth your time.
I didn't like it. It had some good bits but it was WAY TOO WORDY! And this from someone who really likes words. The editor, in my opinion, needs an editor. I found it hard to get through. And this from someone who is a glutton when it comes to reading...
