Memorial Day

For all those who have gone before us by way of the violence or deprivations of war, soldiers and civilians, heroes and victims, citizens and foreigners, ours and theirs, we remember you and the lives you led. We pray for peace and for the return of the One who will bring everlasting peace to our lives, our societies and our world. He did not create us to die, but to live. Come, Lord Jesus!

  1. I finally got around to visiting your blog. I've had internet connection issues for the last few days due to my brother-in-law losing my cellphone, etc... let's not talk about it.

I've enjoyed the visit, I'm sure to be back again. I've got you on my favorites.

  2. Hey Matt,
I finally figured out where "Burning Hearts Revolution" comes from!!! Yesterday Jamin L. gave me a sweet commentary and a couple of other books, one called "Fireseeds of Spiritual Awakening." Dan Hayes talked about the original members of the revolution, and now I feel like an insider, because I know the history. Yippee!

So glad to see this tribute to Memorial Day. Too many folks think of it as a long weekend and don't think about what is behind it. Thanks, Mom
