Two Movies I Can Recommend Without Seeing

I almost cried when I saw the newest Narnia trailer. It is that cool. Seriously, this looks like a great movie. I am trying to keep my expectations down so I am not disappointed. Of course the best thing is that there could be six sequels if this is well received.

And then there is KING KONG! My friend Sam is working on this film. He is probably the crankiest film critic of all time and he says it is going to be awesome. The trailers tell the same story. Directed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) and starring Jack Black and Naomi Watts, it brings up an important question: Do we really need to see an enormous gorilla fight a lot of dinosaurs? Yes, we do! Of course we do!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR NARNIA AND KING KONG!!!!!!!!! Very excited over here. Ashith has no idea why, but he'll learn to love them as much as we do. :)

  2. Ashith-- here are five reasons to look forward to King Kong:

    1) Giant gorilla lives on "Skull Island". Now that's pretty creepy.

    2) Giant gorilla is not alone on Skull Island. There are also all sorts of dinosaurs and enormous spiders and things which Kong must dominate.

    3) For reasons mysterious to all of us, Kong falls in love with a tiny human woman... as if I fell in love with a little ant woman. This brings in the philosophical side of things.

    4) Kong wreaks havoc in the civilized world.

    5) Kong fights some bi-planes.

I think that says enough. If not, I will point out that it is a good date movie because your date will find enormous gorillas attractive after the film. Just pretend you are going to fall off a building after swatting at some airplanes and she will go wild for you (even if you are not a gorilla).
