My daughter A has been learning how to sew from Grandma Maggie. Apparently A whipped up a skirt for herself earlier today. She's made a couple of pillows and another skirt, too. Krista related the following conversation to me tonight:
Krista: I can't sew very well. And your Dad isn't even interested in sewing, he'll probably never learn to sew.
A (horrified): You mean that for the rest of his life he'll have to buy his clothes?
A is already prepared to contribute to the commune with a valuable skill.
